Ashtyan (TPF)Los Angeles vs AnaheimHave you ever been to an artist's show back to back at different venues and can’t help yourself, but to compare the two? Well, I recently went through that dilemma with Trophy Eyes show at The Echo in Los Angeles on November 27th and The Chain Reaction in Anaheim on November 28th, 2017. Typically Los Angeles shows tend to make me want to tap out as if I was in a wrestling match, lol. Whereas, at Chain Reaction it feels as if you’re being serenaded to even if it only lasts for
Ashtyan (TPF)Welcome To The Dark Side....Let me give you a brief example of how my day at 2017 Vans Warped Tour [SAN DIEGO 8.5.17] went… There were a ton of hair flipping, head-banging, air punching, crowd surfing, music playing all while boiling in the sun! lol First up was Lisa Johnson’s Life In The Pit: The Rock Photographer Experience TEI Workshop. Instantly, I went from checking in to now heading towards heavens of all heaven…the pit (dun dun dun). First up of the day was a Rock/Experimental band from Cranberry

Meanwhile, adults shook the dust from their well-loved Taking Back Sunday shirts and pulled themselves up from the depths of their Emo-Punk retirement. Everyone’s early 2000s favorite bands, Say Anything and Bayside, brought the older millennial crowd out of hiding for a night. The two bands along with Reggie and the Full Effect dug up the past and brought a nostalgia-fueled energy to The Mar

Chaos and madness ensued when Fronz and the rest of his tour mates played at Livewire in early November. This show was rowdy and definitely not for the easily offended. Local Post Hardcore band Go Ask Alice was first up for the night. The trouble with having local bands open for bigger acts like Attila is that often people do not care about them. That unfortunately was the case with Go Ask Alice. When they went on stage, not many peop

Their stop in Phoenix was memorable for most fans, in the fact that the show came just a day after the election results, and the men held nothing back. The bands got political and emotional, making this show one of the best Pop Punk shows in a long time. Most people dread the opening act of a Pop Punk show. They are usually some overzealous
