Get Back to the Classics- Classic West Preview

No one could have convinced me not to go to this show. I bought my tickets the day they were released and spent (way) to much money on great seats. Classic West in the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium is this weekend. All the greats are playing and I will be there!

The headliner on day one is the Eagles, who are playing their first large stadium shows since the death of band founder Glenn Frey's death in early 2016. Frey's son, Deacon, will be joining the band on tour this summer in tribute.

The second day headliner is Fleetwood Mac, returning to the stage after a three-year break. The powerhouse band has been releasing hits since the late 1960's and seems to be only getting better with age.

Joining the headliners are other oldies rockers- Journey, with their non-original, yet killer lead singer Arnel Pineda; dynamic duo, Steely Dan; ever-evolving hit machine, The Doobie Brothers; and funk dynamites, Earth, Wind & Fire.

Live Nation is promoting the duel-city summer festival as a historic and legendary event, taking place on both coasts in Los Angeles and New York City.

Stay tuned for my post-show review next week and follow my Twitter @tylerrpeckham for highlights during the show.
