Once it hits Illinois, summer at the Warped Tour is almost over. Warped Tour begins its final stretch of shows on July 22 in Tinley Park, Illinois.
The tour may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the head-banging and mosh pits have to. Warped Tour is bringing an enormous amount of good music to Illinois for one action-packed day.
There will be performances from Anti-Flag, The Ataris, Too Close To Touch, and Futuristic.
Do not hesitate to go see some female-fronted and all-female bands. There are many to choose from, such as Bad Cop / Bad Cop, New Years Day, Jule Vera, and War On Women.

There’s one band of Illinois natives playing the tour this year. Sworn In is a heavy band from Grayslake. Support the local scene and give Sworn In a listen.

For another chance to support local music, check out the Ernie Ball Play contest winner for Illinois, The Burst and Bloom. The Burst and Bloom is a rock band from Chicago who are known for their DIY music. Visit their website to check out their music and learn more about the band.

Just like the rest of the tour, TEI is offering multiple workshops for fans. These workshops add an educational aspect to the tour.
One TEI class festival-goers should consider going to is Shawna Potter’s Safer Spaces workshop. For the Tinley Park tour date only, Shawna is offering her TEI workshop for free. Tickets for each workshop are $25 and can be purchased from the TEI Website. In order to attend the workshops, a valid Warped Tour ticket must also be purchased.
The Illinois Warped Tour stop will be held at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Tinley Park on July 22. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. Tickets can be bought online or in a local Journeys store.
