Warped in Reverse—warping back to Vans Warped Tour 2017! Series #3
Last year, Warped Tour was shaken up a bit by Greek rockers, Barb Wire Dolls. With their unique, edgy sound, they easily gained a new following from being on Vans Warped Tour. This was their first year on Warped Tour and are known for their friendship with the late rock legend, Lemmy.
Isis Queen's vocal prowess accented her powerful stage presence last summer 2017. Barb Wire Dolls signature look has to do with leather, combat boots and crop tops with written lyrics all over them. “Make Riot, Not War” is one of their most famous lyrics. The band—Isis Queen (vocals), Pyn Doll (lead guitar), Krash Doll (drums), Iriel Blaque (bass) and Xtine (rhythm guitar)—didn’t need any extravagant stage props or anything except for their instruments and individuality to really engage the audience and even the surrounding stages. Isis Queen had a heavy interaction with the crowd. She was sure to get in the pit and really jam out with everyone who came for Barb Wire Dolls.
Unfortunately, they will not be on Warped Tour this year. However, you can catch them at Whiskey A Go-Go in West Hollywood on the Fourth of July, with guests Royal Distortion. This is a free show and will give you a chance to catch their latest release, Rub My Mind, live.
